I keep looking it over and over, freaking out about if I'm going to be accepted. Every time I look it over I add more to it. I could write a book on her .. HAHA! I AM writing a book on her~

I've been going a bit near slowly crazy recently. Waverly's gotten herself nice and vocal, but I can't figure out how to start the re-edit. I need to remove the over-the-top writing style and add in some more detail without sounding pretentous. Working on her application for Polychromatic really helped with fleshing out a lot of the things that I wasn't really positive on. I may take the app and use it to flesh out Lucifer and Mallory as well. Though the two of them are a bit more fleshed.
Waverly's voice has gotten a lot stronger since I've worked things out. She's more sarcastic, which I expected honestly. She was pretty messed up in the beginning, so you don't see a lot of her stronger qualities. In the later chapters she will have a stronger and more confident voice though.
I've also figured out the end. It'll be nice to write something that has no real heroin romantic base to it. She's not going to have a strong romantic relationship with Lucifer like I thought before. That was really screwing with my writing. So I'll be re-editing that part as well to remove the romantic elements. Having Lucifer have an issue like he does and adding that extra element just wasn't working. It also removed a lot of Waverly's strength by having her cling to the man who was manipulating her. That would be like having her go back to her father and doing exactly what he wanted. It's ... sort of pathetic.
If I manage a second novel I'll maybe add a romantic element to it ... though I'm not sure how I could add another book to it with the way it ends.
